Learn how to draw a realistic portrait utilizing a rainbow color palette with colored pencils. You’ll follow along on a provided image of a person and learn the “rules” of color placement, thoughtful use of the color wheel, and layers to create your portrait.

About the instructor: Amber Marie is an award winning artist that has been creating colored pencil works since 2001 in defiance of being told she needed to be a painter. She takes colored pencils to a level of painting through multi-layering and mixing media, focusing primarily on portraiture that is about healing from trauma, showing the duality of life with flora, fauna, and skulls.
