Dive into ART 321's weekly groups, a space to learn new techniques, create alongside fellow artists, and connect with the vibrant art community.

At ART 321, we host weekly classes & groups that welcome creatives from all backgrounds, ages, and expertise. These classes & groups are a platform for artists to bond, share ideas, and embark on their artistic adventures together. Whether you're keen on mastering a new technique, honing your existing talents, or simply wishing to bond with fellow art enthusiasts, the doors of ART 321 are always open to you.

Clay Collective

$10 - Members

Tuesdays, 10am - noon

ART 321 hosts a ceramics class every Tuesday morning from 10-12.
The cost is $10 per session for members, and $15 for non-members.
Our instructor is present during studio hours to assist you,
Clay is available for purchase for $1.50 per pound.
You don’t need to bring anything with you, just yourself!
All other supplies are provided.

Mixed Media Mayhem

Free for Members

Tuesdays, 6p – 8p

Leader: Collaborative

No Rules. Just Fun.
Come hang out with us on Tuesday nights from 6-8.
Bring any mixed media project you want to work on, or we'll have something to inspire you with. Heather Watson and Kathy Dilgarde will be facilitating this class, and we're looking for 1-2 more folks who may be interested in filling in.

We are looking for live models. You’ll be paid $10/hr. There are breaks and coffee/tea/water.

Portrait Group

Wednesdays, 10am – 1pm


Leader: Nadine McLeod

Class covers helpful principles in the construction of a convincing portrait drawing.
A live model is available. Not sure what to bring? Just show up, and we’ll cover the rest.

Participants of all skill levels using preferred media to draw portraits have fun in a
non-intimidating atmosphere.

Wheel Throwers for Beginners

Summer wheel class!
If you’ve ever wanted to learn how to throw on the wheel, this class is for you. Firing, 2# of clay and glaze included

Our instructor is present during studio hours to assist you.
Extra clay and glaze are available for purchase for $1.50 per pound. You don’t need to bring anything with you, just yourself!
All other supplies are provided.

As we only have 7 wheels available each week, we cannot guarantee drop-in space will be available. Register each week early to ensure your spot is saved.

Instructor: Jennifer Johnson

An inclusive community of artists creating an accessible studio space. Groups focus on fine art mediums, skills/techniques acquisition, and adaptation, and engage in cooperative projects. As an adaptive art program, participants will be able to explore creativity through painting, clay, printmaking, performing arts, and more.

Connect & Reflect with Acrylic

How we do one thing, is how we do all things.

You will learn to honor self-growth, tend to intention and make meaningful relationships. Be prepared to engage, mingle, and laugh with others, bond over art and paint, while encouraging one another.
Learn acrylic painting basics including mixing color, creating an idea and image, tools, and techniques. You don’t need any painting experience. All skill levels are welcome.
Bring an open mind and a desire to connect with yourself and others.

Bring with you a journal, Notebook, or Sketchbook, Pen, pencil, markers

These classes are taken in pairs.

You will need 2 sessions to get through a piece.

Instructor: Sara Bohl

In this class, you will learn to listen to your inner wisdom using painting and community. This healing, meaningful art group is painting acrylic on canvas while discussing the process.

We will discuss each person’s painting as a group to understand ourselves more deeply. The group will reflect on their experience of the act of painting, and relate it to other life experiences.

This is a great way to learn the basics of hand building, slabs, who what when where, and why? What is low-fire clay? Which glaze do I use first? These are all the questions you will get answered in our beginner clay class.

Weekend Watercolor

The ART 321 Saturday morning Watercolor Group invites all water media artists to participate in fun and creative watercolor projects! Each week, group leader Ellen Black will introduce an activity designed to stretch your imagination and engage you creatively within a friendly, welcoming and supportive environment. You can also sign up for a 30-minute private session during the regular 10:00 a.m. - noon time frame. The cost for each Saturday Watercolor session is only $5 to pay for use of the gallery and support of ART 321. Sessions are open to all without the need to register in advance.
